As a former Nevada Chapter Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Las Vegas immigration attorney Margo Chernysheva works diligently to help other immigration attorneys across the United States enhance their legal skills and effectively assist their clients.

Ms. Chernysheva spoke recently to a large gathering of immigration attorneys at the 4th Annual AILA-Nevada Chapter Conference. The theme of this year’s conference was “Managing a Solo or Small Practice: Business School for the Immigration Lawyer.”

The conference was held on February 22nd and 23rd at the Downtown Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. Ms. Chernysheva was one of three immigration attorneys who spoke on the subject of “Growing Pains” for practitioners who focus on immigration law.

WHAT ADVICE DID THE SPEAKERS OFFER?

The speakers focused on how immigration attorneys should grow their legal practices. Specific topics included outsourcing, how and when to make staffing and hiring decisions, how to attract and keep the best personnel, and whether or not immigration lawyers should ever use surrogates.

Ms. Chernysheva provided the AILA-Nevada Conference participants her advice and insights regarding how to grow an immigration practice effectively and how to make the best possible staffing and hiring decisions.
